Deleting your account

How to delete your mindspace account, and what happens to your data when you do.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the sidebar in the mindspace app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll down to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
4. In “Delete your account?”, review what will happen and tap Next.
5. Type DELETE to confirm.
6. In “Last chance”, tap Delete my account.

You can tap Cancel on any of these dialogs to stop before your account is scheduled for deletion.

Request deletion without the app

If you can't use the app (you uninstalled it, or can't sign in), use this form. We email a one-time confirmation link to your account's address; opening it proves the inbox is yours and schedules the same deletion as the app, grace period included.

What happens when you delete your account

Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. Until then you can cancel by signing in again. When it ends:

• Your posts and messages are anonymized.
• Your uploaded images are removed.
• Your friendships are removed.
• Circles you own are handed to another member.
• You can no longer sign in.

After the grace period, deletion can’t be undone.
